Plan now to support the future of the industry by placing special bequests in your will or earmarking dollars in your estate to be appropriated to the National Horticulture Foundation. By helping NHF build its portfolio, contributions will provide an impact for horticulture industry and beyond.

Once a contribution reaches the $5,000 level, it will become a named endowment. Customize your support to the National Horticulture Foundation by specifying whether your contribution should enhance research grants, NHF’s graduate assistantship or student scholarships. A gift may be given as a cash contribution or pledge. As a 501(c)(3) organization, all contributions made to the National Horticulture Foundation are tax deductible.

What NHF Means  to the Industry

The National Horticulture Foundation started out in 1987 as the National Foliage Foundation with a small industry contribution.  In the first 30 years, the Foliage Industry supported the Foundation's effort to fund research and support students through scholarships.

Now, with its new name, National Horticulture Foundation (NHF), NHF's board looks forward to the next 30 year, with its same mission of serving the nursery and landscape industry yet reaching a broader audience

"Since the start of working with the Foundation, I have witness the generosity of the nursery and landscape industry.  Its continue mission to share ideas, find solutions and enhance the professionalism of the industry.  NHF's board is made up of industry members that give tirelessly of their time and resources and I am proud to serve with them !"
